Well, my debut young adult novel hit shelves on Tuesday and things have been crazy ever since. Receiving feedback from actual readers on the ground over the past two days has been one of the most satisfying experiences of my writing career. To know that my words are currently making a difference in people’s lives as I write this post is simply mind blowing, and feeling like I’ve been able to at least reach some people and raise their awareness about the plight of Alzheimer’s caregivers makes my heart so full.

But I’m not done trying to get the word out. I’ve really just started.
