I’ve been reading Our State Magazine since I moved to North Carolina in 2005 and it has been a goal since then to somehow show up on its pages. It finally happened, in the form of an incredible book review of On the Way to Birdland! On a side note, On the Way to Birdland is a special book and I truly believe in its value as a work of literature that pays homage to my adopted hometown and its heroes.
