After a much needed few days of rest, I wanted to drop in with a massive thank you to everyone who came out to Sunrise Books or watched my launch party online for your generous support. It truly was an amazing moment in my life to see all of your smiling faces out there in the crowd as I presented On the Way to Birdland for the first time. Special thanks to my family at Westchester Country Day School for always being the driving force that allows me to live out my dream. I love y’all.
I also want to thank so many other folks who were instrumental in helping to make this book the best it could be and get it in the hands of interested readers. Thanks to the authors who read it early and offered priceless feedback and blurbs: Joelle Charbonneau, Val Nieman, Adrienne Kisner, Angelo Surmelis, and Brenda Rufener. Massive thanks to Birdie Thompson, Marty J. Brown, Diana Rodriguez Wallach, Amy Cobb McGinnis and family, Frank Morelli, Keith Oxman, John Scheinfeld and countless others for letting me pick their brains.

Thanks to the High Point Preservation Society for keeping our city unique and beautiful, and for keeping our hearts forever alive with the sound of John Coltrane.
Thank you to Angel Schroeder for a perfect launch event and to all the #indiebooksellers who provide the heartbeat to our communities.
And thank you to author Steph Post, Dorothy, Freya, and Floof for sharing with me these priceless pics of On the Way to Birdland truly out in the wild.
If you have your own copy and want to keep helping an indie author spread the word about his book, the best thing you can do is leave an honest review on Amazon, B&N, and Goodreads. These reviews play a major role in helping other readers, librarians, and classroom teachers determine their interest levels in the book. And keep on following along as I embark on a new book journey.
Lots of fun to share in the coming weeks.Cheers, happy summer, and happy reading y’all!
