Adrienne Kisner is not only a talented young adult author, she also a professor, a residence director, a birder, and truly one of the coolest people I know. The first time we ever met was back in our undergraduate days at Albright College, where we both loved reading literature but never dreamed of becoming dueling kidlit authors who debuted their first novels almost simultaneously some 20 years later.
