It was a massive honor to get a call from the warrior librarians at Forsyth County Library in Winston-Salem, North Carolina last month. They reached out to ask me if I’d have the time and interest to create a series of videos dedicated to marking the rigors of National Novel Writing Month, where writers around the globe pledge to write an entire novel (upwards of 50,000) words in a single month.
In recent years, it has been encouraging to see the number of teen writers who are excited to throw their hats in the NaNoWriMo ring, and I couldn’t have been more proud to offer my advice on achieving success during one of my favorite writing months of the year.
Special thanks to the Forsyth County Public Library Teen Center for hosting my series of five videos dedicated to various parts of the writing process and how to make the most of your time during NaNoWriMo.
You can find the first three videos in the series HERE.
Look for the last two videos to come out on the next two Wednesdays before Thanksgiving. Happy writing!
