Memory Cafe @ The Council on Aging

82335331_775560632920338_8950493694885101568_nThanks go out to Amanda Thomas and the Council on Aging for hosting such an awesome event on Friday (1/17) in Monroe, NC. It’s was always my number one goal for my novel, NO SAD SONGS, to connect me to people who are currently taking the caretaker journey for loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

I had so much fun sharing highlights from my novels and watching fellow AlzAuthor Senia Owensby knock her reading out of the park. I even got a chance to introduce a few young readers to the first book in my new middle grade series, PLEASE RETURN TO: Norbert M. Finkelstein.

And congratulations to the Union County Council on Aging for winning multiple awards for the brilliant design of your brand-new home for the Neighborhood Memory Cafe!
