I’m really looking forward to being on a panel with Brigid Kemmerer (Letters to the Lost and More Than We Can Tell) on Wednesday (Oct. 10) at the Fall For The Book Festival in Fairfax, VA. The panel is titled “Unhappy in their Own Way” and will focus on dark, intense family problems within the #YA novel. I will be sharing my experiences caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s and reading from my novel, NO SAD SONGS.
This festival has an amazing lineup, including Congressman John Lewis and Angie Thomas (The Hate U Give). Most events are free, so come out and enjoy if you’re anywhere near the DC area!
