Hello, y’all! Welcome to another review! Today, I will be giving a spoiler free review of a debate novel called No Sad Songs by Frank Morelli.

This novel doesn’t hit shelves till February 20th of this year, but he gave me an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This story follows eight-teen year old Gabe. Gabe loves his english class, his best friend John and has a crush on one of the most popular girls in school. His grandfather also has alzheimer’s, and the premises of this book is what it means to be a caregiver for someone with Alzheimer’s. But, Gabe is just like you and me.

I did rate this a 5 out 5 stars. i really liked the premise of this novel. There isn’t a lot of YA that really focuses on family dynamics, most of the time the family only appears when it’s critical…
